We are committed to designing buildings that are environmentally responsible. On different projects we have adopted different strategies to fulfill this responsibility of ‘good stewardship’: Ground Source Heating, Rainwater Harvesting, CHP, Bio-mass, Photovoltaic, heat reclamation, and various passive energy strategies. We are happy to discuss the use of any of these technologies with you as part of your project and we’re also keen to learn from your experience and research solutions together.

Our main approach to Carbon Neutral design has been to integrate renewable energy sources into well considered spaces, which are then carefully built with high levels of insulation and close attention to detail.

An understanding of the different technologies that are available and the opportunities they offer is extremely important but the architecture itself- the organisation of spaces and the materials used- offers other opportunities to reduce energy use while improving your quality of life.
